Basically, door chime is a doorbell that runs without any wires, which makes it extremely easy and simple to install. Standard doorbell can be a headache sometimes because of its complex wiring. I had another brand of wireless doorbell and had nothing but problems with it. I exchanged it 3 different times because it only worked half of the time. I finally ordered the Honeywell and have had it for over a month and it has worked without fail. I am completely satisfied with it and would buy one again if I had a need for another one.
