Tips to Make Saving Money More Fun
We know for the fact that saving money is not always easy, but approached the right way it can become a hobby that’s enjoyable as well as beneficial. Here are some steps I have found to stretch your finances and enjoying the process.
- Relax. Relax, Relax and again I say, “Relax”. Don’t count each penny you save and worry about how much you save. Does it really matter if this week you saved $1.92 compared to $1.93 on a meal? Yes, every penny matters, but sometimes the amount is so minimal it’s not crucial.
- Budget. Always good advice, sometimes harder to do.
- Make saving money detective work. Uncover the sleuth in you. If you look at it as money saved as unfound treasure, you will find the process exhilarating. There’s always a new way to save you have yet to discover. Search for it.
- Involve your kids in saving. Play games with them that show them how to use money wisely. Money Matters is a game by Larry Burkett that does just that. Another way is to help them earn money save you money by encouraging them to cut coupons. To do this, give them a percentage of how much money you save when you use the coupons they cut at the grocery store. They organize your coupons, helping you save and earn extra allowance too!
key to excel in insurance business
As we may have noticed, only a small percentage of insurance agents stay long in the insurance business industry. And those who stay, one way or the other are top insurance agents and those who leave are mediocre and at the bottom of the barrel. The key to excel in this business is to have considerable skills and knowledge about the types of products the insurer offered that include auto, home, health, term life insurance and so on. But, it is also about having the right attitude and habits.
Successful insurance agents possess good work habits, passion, common sense, continuous improvement and positive mental attitude. Building trust is an important factor in this type of profession. Unless the customer can trust you, you cannot sell anything. Always keep in mind that every success comes with time. It only comes to you when you deserve it.
attaining a degree for a better future
With the advancement of technology, finishing any chosen courses is no longer a matter of time or money. It is already a matter of will. Even if the person wishing to attain a degree is working to make both ends meet, completing a college program is still possible.
These days there are several schools that offer online degree courses. This gives every individual the opportunity to realize their dream of a better job. Also, it gives them the chance to be flexible. They no longer need to quit their job to study in traditional schools. Online courses can be scheduled at the students preferred time. And, it can be done anywhere in the world. Meaning it is less stressful because there is no time pressure.
Another thing is that online courses have lower course fees as compared to that of traditional brick and mortar schools. Add that to the savings in travel, lodging, and the time off work that you would have to take in completing an “in-class” course. However, lower cost doesn’t mean fewer options. The truth is there are so many courses available online including online IT degree, health, business and so much more. The challenge now is choosing accredited online schools which can be done with a little research.
