dealing with clean air
According to studies, indoor air is two to five times more polluted than outdoor air although this may sound crazy, but it could be true. Such that we have to take proper precautions since an average person breathes in about 32,000 pts. (18,185 litres) of air each day. From that number, it contains approximately 1,120,000,000 particles of dust which are so small that it is already invisible to the eye.
Choosing the perfect furnace filters is not as easy as it sounds might be. Making the right choice can greatly affect the amount of dust in your home, allergy or asthma problems, and even the life of your furnace. It provides not only economic benefits, but health benefits as well. Clean filters keep air flowing freely and reduce your furnace bill.
There are three main considerations when selecting a furnace filter.
1) Filter Type: pleated, non-pleated, boxed media air cleaner, electrostatic, electronic, or HEPA
2) Filter Size: what size filter do you currently have and will the new replacement furnace filter fit in the existing space, or do you want to install a new, larger and more effective air cleaner?
3) Filter Quality or Effectiveness: research on the effectiveness of filter in dealing with particulates, bioareosols, and VOCs, or Volatile Organic Compounds.
