Being on Time

When you don’t come to class or to work on time, you’re sending a message to your teacher or boss. You’re saying, “My time is more important things to do than be here.” In addition to the lack of respect tardiness shows to your teacher or boss, it rudely disrupts the work of your colleagues. Promptness may not be a priority in some circles, but in the workplace promptness is essential. But being punctual doesn’t always mean just being on time. You have to pay attention to the corporate culture. Sometimes you have to come earlier than others and leave later to get that promotion you desire. To develop good work habits and good grades, it is important to get to class on time and not leave earlier.
