It’s not a good business when it will cost huge amount of money in the future. Business owners should think of their worker’s welfare even before the operation or while operation. One best example is with the construction industry that uses asbestos in producing floor tiles and sheet flooring, construction mastics & putties, acoustic/decorative plaster or artex, textured paints/coatings and so much more.
There must be proper safety system in this kind of business since exposure to asbestos will lead to mesothelioma to any exposed individual. The employee may not feel its effect earlier, but it will be in the next 20 or 50 years after exposure.
During this time, the company will face legal charges which is much expensive than keeping the work area safe to the employee. Plus, there is a danger when found guilty that the company will have to stop operating. This is the worst thing to happen in any business.
